How long does it normally take to build?
It depends on the size but but sort of a sort of small garden office is sort of three four weeks.
Okay. That’s not too bad.
What’s really nice though is that once you get talking to the client and if they say they want a door there or a window there because it looks a bit uncertain aspect is that, our build technique is flexible enough to be able to do all of those little niches that they need or would like, and, you know, you can tweak the shape to go around a tree or a bit of decking on.
Oh that’s nice.
It’s not just one size fits all.
Yeah, yeah, I love it. Do you need planning permission for your garden rooms?
Yeah. Generally, it’s all under permitted development. So you’re allowed to do, you know, you’re allowed to develop up to 50% of your land. There is restrictions obviously, on size and, and stuff like that. So up to 30m² is, is fine with the level of insulation and everything. We use and fire cladding if it’s closer than a meter to the boundary.
